2023 Patch Shiraz
$35.00
Winemaker’s notes
The Shiraz grapes were picked by Cameron and his awesome New Holland harvester up at the Malakoff Vineyard in the Pyrenees. The stalks are left on the vine and the berries are left whole. So, whole berry ferment without the tannin from the stalks. Winning! Robert and Cameron grow amazing grapes and are just the best people to work with. They kindly hand picked 100 kilos of Viognier for us for co-fermentation as we did with the first Patch Shiraz from 2021. A lighter style of Shiraz, perfumed, with a supple creamy palate and lovely generosity of tannin.
